Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
This page collects answers to the most common KIERTUE questions: accounts and login, devices and offline use, subscription and payment, gig visibility, and privacy. If you can't find your answer here, email [email protected].
Account and login
Does every band member need their own account?
Yes. Everyone logs in with their own account so that roles and permissions work. The account is free for members – only the band subscription costs, and the band owner pays for it.
I forgot my password – what do I do?
Select "Forgot password?" on the login page. You will receive an email with a link to set a new password. If the message doesn't arrive, check your spam folder.
I didn't receive the confirmation email after registering
Check your spam folder first. If it's not there either, send a message to [email protected] and we'll sort it out.
What is the easiest way to get my whole band in?
Create an invite link: Band settings → "Invite with a link" → choose a role → share the link with your band. Everyone joins with their own account. The link is valid for 7 days and can be revoked at any time. Read the full instructions →
Can I belong to several bands?
You can. The same account can be a member of multiple bands and own several bands. Your bands appear on the selection page after logging in, and each one is its own world: its own gigs, members and setlists.
Devices and offline use
Is there an Android app?
There is no separate Play Store app for now. On Android, you use the web app installed to your home screen – it works like an app, offline support included. Installation instructions here →
Does KIERTUE work without a connection, for example at festivals?
It does. This week's gigs with schedules, setlists and songs are saved to your device automatically. Open your upcoming gigs once while online – after that they open even when the festival network is jammed.
Do changes show up for other members right away?
They do. When someone edits a gig or setlist, the change updates on everyone's devices in real time.
Can I get the gigs into my phone's calendar?
You can. You can subscribe to the band's gig calendar, which updates automatically in your phone's own calendar app. Read the calendar subscription guide →
Subscription and payment
What does KIERTUE cost?
€29.90/month per band. The price doesn't depend on the number of members – the whole team is included at the same price, whether there are 3 or 30 of you. A new band gets a 14-day free trial.
Who pays for the subscription?
The band owner. For other members, use is free.
How do I cancel the subscription?
From your profile: "Manage subscription" takes you to the payment portal where cancelling takes a couple of clicks. The period you've already paid for remains available until it ends.
What happens when the free trial ends?
If you don't continue with a subscription, access to the band is locked until a subscription starts again. Nothing is deleted – your gigs, setlists and everything else stay safe.
Is there annual billing?
Billing is monthly for now. You can cancel at any time.
Gigs, tours and visibility
A member can't see a gig – why?
The two most common reasons: you're looking at different tours (switch tours from the top bar selector), or the gig is restricted to a member group the member doesn't belong to. Groups are managed in band settings, and admins always see all gigs.
Where do past gigs go?
They move to the past gigs list, which you can open from the clock icon on the gig list. Entire tours can be archived in tour management.
Why is the guest list locked?
The guest list closes automatically one hour before showtime, or at a time set by an admin. Admins can add guests even after locking. Read more about guest lists →
Can I change the set length?
You can, from the gig details. The length affects the schedule view and the day summary.
Privacy and security
Where is my data stored?
Data is stored in Google's Firebase cloud in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Connections are encrypted. The privacy policy has the details →
Who can see guest lists and venue contact details?
Only the members of your own band, each according to their role. Venue contacts, technical info and attachments are band-specific – they are not visible to other bands.
Can I export my data?
You can. "Download my data" on the profile page downloads all your data in JSON format: profile, bands, tours, gigs, setlists and songs.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the profile page. If you own bands, first transfer ownership to another member or delete the bands. An active subscription is cancelled automatically on deletion.
