Gig schedules: Load-in, soundcheck, and showtime
A clear schedule is essential for a successful gig. In KIERTUE, every gig has its own schedule that is visible to all team members in real time.
Three main times
Every gig has three standard times:
- Load In – the band arrives at the venue and starts setting up
- Sound Check – testing and adjusting the sound system
- Showtime – the gig start time, highlighted in red
You can also set the show duration in minutes. The app automatically calculates the end time.
Custom schedule items
In addition to the three standard times, you can add custom schedule items. These are useful for things like:
- Interviews and promo
- Meet & greet
- Catering / meals
- Another band's performance
Editing the schedule
Open the gig details and press the "Edit" button in the schedule section. In the edit view, you can add, change, and delete times. Changes are saved immediately for all team members.
Reminders – so you never miss a key moment
KIERTUE reminds you of a gig's key moments in two ways.
1. General reminders. Open My account → Notification settings and choose a band. Turn on notifications and pick what you want to be reminded about: a new gig in the calendar, load-in, soundcheck, showtime, and outbound and return travel. Also choose how far ahead the reminder arrives. Settings are per band and apply to all your devices.
2. A reminder for a single schedule item. Want a reminder for a specific moment – like leaving the hotel or catering? Open the schedule editor, select the row, and turn on Remind. A bell icon appears on the row, and you'll get a reminder before that item.
Notifications are currently delivered in the iPhone app – make sure notifications are allowed in your phone's settings.
