Team roles and permissions in KIERTUE
In KIERTUE, every team member has a role that determines what they can do. The role system ensures that the right people can edit the right things – and that nobody accidentally deletes a gig or changes settings.
Four roles
Owner – the band creator. All permissions, including ownership transfer and subscription management.
Admin – full editing permissions: adding and editing gigs, band settings, member management, tour and attachment management.
Member – can edit setlists and songs, add own guests to the guest list. Cannot edit gigs or settings.
Viewer – view only and adding own guests. No editing permissions.
Pricing is per band: all members are included at no extra cost, regardless of role.
Visibility groups
Visibility groups allow you to restrict the visibility of individual gigs. For example:
- A session musician only sees their own gigs
- A producer only sees studio sessions
- The touring lineup and studio lineup can be in different groups
Admins and the owner always see all gigs regardless of groups. If a gig has no group restrictions, it is visible to everyone.
Summary
Roles and visibility groups keep the team organized and ensure that everyone sees and can edit only what they need.
